Red Creek Inn and Farm

Excellent value: beautifully furnished, quiet, and clean. It was right along my travel route.

The owners were very friendly on the phone, but I never saw them since there was no one in the office when I checked in or checked out, and it was unclear whether they lived there, whether some people there were family members of the owners or instead guests, and which parts of the house were common areas that guests were allowed to use. It was also unclear who to ask if there was a question or problem (for example, the bottle of body wash for the shower was empty). So this made the stay a bit awkward.

We arrived very late and were welcomed by Max who helped us with bags as we got settled. Our beds were comfy and the property was quiet. The stars were wonderful. My kids loved meeting the goats! Breakfast was fruit, toast, and coffee. :)

The roosters on the farm are adorable. Just know that they are early risers. 😂

We liked the hosts flexibility in letting us bring our daughter at the last minute for the first night and talking with them. The bed and chair in the room were comfortable and the shower was good.
