Clan Living - The Lovers Ubud Private Villas

It’s unique. Loved the architecture, the facilities & the location.

Downstairs in the red room the top showerhead is not working properly. Our breakfast was meant to be vegetarian, as communicated but we had bacon anyway. We had asked for a floating breakfast which was at first not provided. And there had been a miscommunication with the check in time. They told us we could check in earlier, which was convenient because we just landed, but at arrival we couldn’t.

The secret room was the only place we liked in the property

The cleanliness has to be improved. There are flies at the kitchen area and rats during the night. Please be mindful the property is near paddy terrains so be aware to have uninvited pets. The location is too secluded as its very scary to be outside at night. No guards, no one looking after the property at night. No secure doors for your property. The rooms can be locked but again anyone can walk into your villa. The villa is not maintained aa shown in the pics. The staff is very friendly and helpful but they can’t do much as can clearly see the property owners are not managing it well. The facilities need to be maintained. I would say its overpriced for the secluded area

Red room is fun.

There is no privacy, you literally can see other villas and they can see you as well. Room has bad soundproof and you hear everything that happen in other villas. Also we woke up every morning at 8am from child cry from neighborhood building. Breakfast is poor.

Very very cool. Almost like staying in a treehouse. The jacuzzi on the roof is amazing and the views are fantastic. The bed was comfy and the shower facilities were amazing, really modern and the best we’ve seen in Bali. Beautiful scenery from the house and the living area is picturesque. Really loved the floating breakfast, was a pretty cool experience.

There are some little things like loose pieces of wood in certain places or spots that could have had a deeper clean. In general it was very clean but I think that would probably bring it closer to a five star experience. It was about a half hour drive from ubud central but with grab it’s not too bad. It would have been nice if the jacuzzi on the roof was heated.
