Hobbit - Cosy Holiday Lodge with Pool

The property was very clean and comfortable and is situated in a beautiful spot in the site. You can tell straight away that it is well maintained too. We met the hosts Robert and Pippa who are a lovely couple and very helpful. The accommodation had everything you could think of, the hosts have thought of everything to try and make it home from home.

The caravan was home from home , beautiful furnishings , lovely crockery and utensils , and beautiful bedding and towels provided .

We received a lovely warm welcome from Pippa and Robert on arrival. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We'd not been on this type of break before, so we weren't sure what to expect, the caravan was located in a lovely quiet area of the park which really appealed to us (but within easy walking distance to the main part of the park). The welcome basket was also very gratefully received.

The facilities in the main part of the park weren't the best. I'm not sure if the majority of people use the park as a base to explore the wider area, so as a result the staff on site didn't seem as engaged or enthusiastic. Whilst this didn't really impact our stay as we just wanted to 'switch off', it may be a consideration for others who go with the expectation of entertainment for children or who like a bit more atmosphere.

Excellent holiday lodge and the owners are very nice people

We had two holiday lodges next to each other, grounds view very pleasant, plenty of parking space both had a fenced in outdoor seating platform that the patio doors opened onto. Both lodges were immaculate with welcome baskets, and both were well equipped with tea and coffee provided, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Blankets for the dogs also, very well thought out.Robert and Pippa,the owners, were so very nice. The location was ideal for getting out. We went up to Windermere and Puddleducks Dunsop Bridge. Discovered that we had a mutual friend with Robert and Pippa and that Pippa had done some artwork for them - very talented. Enjoyed the the on site swimming pool with the grandchildren, and it was also very clean. The neighbouring residents were all very pleasant. All in all, we had a great stay.

Hobbit Holiday Lodge was very welcoming and highly furnished. We stayed a week and enjoyed the dining area and living room space. Unfortunately it rained a lot so we did not get to enjoy the decking more than once. There was lots of storage space and the shower was good. The kitchen was fully stocked and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch.

The WIFI connection was poor at times. I slept well but my husband found the beds too soft. Everything else was great.

Modern, stylish, cosy , the bed was really comfortable and a clever use of space.

The lodge is in a beautiful location. The decor and furnishings were fab. There was a really lovely welcome hamper provided for us, with a handwritten welcoming note, which was really nice. The lodge was equipped with everything you could need and the hosts called on us to welcome us and let us know where they were,, should we need anything - they could not have been more welcoming, helpful and friendly. This is a fabulous lodge; lots of dog-friendly little touches and we will definitely be recommending it to all of our friends and family.

We can't think of one thing that could have been better.
