Hobbit - Cosy Holiday Lodge with Pool

Lovely holiday lodge set in a great party of the site with great views. Can't fault anything about the place had everything we needed. Will definitely be back.

Due to it being the Christmas period there was no on site entertainment or pool facilities and the Wi-Fi was a little temperamental but this was no fault of the owners and made it more of a relaxing break.

This was a lovely weekend away with husband, 2 kids & our pet dog. Despite the directions carefully provided by the owners, we did struggle a little finding the cabin in the dark when we first arrived on Friday night, but found it easily enough the rest of our stay after we'd done it once. We were greeted with a thoughtful welcome basket which the kids (and grown ups!) really enjoyed. The cabin itself is spotless (despite being dog friendly) and very well equipped - this place is clearly very well looked after and we are grateful to Robert & Pippa for sharing it with us - they were great communicators before/during our stay & even found time to pop down & say hello before we departed. We walked the nearby Tolkien Trail which was beautiful - there are plenty of other walks and attractions nearby so we are hoping to return soon! Thanks again :)

Some more lights / light up signs on the track would be useful but am aware the park is being refurbed so perhaps this will be done for when we return :)

Amazing time had at the Hobbit Holiday Lodge. The Lodge was spotless with everything you needed and more. It was like home from home. Lovely welcome Basket and croissants on arrival was a lovely touch. There are plenty of board games, books, and dvds to keep you entertained. The main bed was something else. It was like sleeping on a giant fluffy cloud ❣️ Robert and pippa were lovely hosts and kept in contact during our stay. I would highly recommend the Hobbit to all my friends and family and hope to be back there again next year. Thankyou for our stay, Steph & George & Willow xx

Absolutely perfect is the only way to describe the Hobbit. The location is in such a peaceful plot. The facilities are great, the welcome basket was a really nice touch enjoyed by the whole family. Dog friendly too. Would recommend the Hobbit to everyone. Will definitely be booking again. Robert was in touch regular to make sure we had everything we needed. A perfect stay.

Everything about Hobbit was fabulous. It was so clean and comfy, the decor was lovely and very tasteful and the welcome basket was so thoughtful and generous. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Accommodation was very clean, bright and comfortable. The owners were friendly, helpful and efficient at answering my queries. They also left a really nice welcome basket with Prosecco, biscuits and elderflower water. My wife was particularly thrilled about the Prosecco, lol. The location of the lodge park is great, it’s close to lovely walking spots for those that enjoy being outdoors, and there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops fairly close by. We had a wonderful stay there and highly recommend!
