Host was lovely & chatty & provided a very tasty breakfast. Other guests were pleasant to dine with. House could be charming & has an interesting history. Parking area was well marked & felt safe. Private bathroom was great.

Room had a bed & a futon which were not very comfortable. The television did not have an on/off button anymore & the instructions said to turn on or off you had to put your finger in the hole where the button used to be & push. Did not feel exactly safe with that. I understand that it is hard to keep up with everything, but this place could be wonderful with some updates; i.e. paint, new tv's, new towels (very scratchy). Not talking major reno, just some freshening.

Nice facilities, comfortable and clean. Charming old building

The host shouted at us upon arrival—raised voice, literally screaming and pulling her hair—because we were a little early and had wanted to stop off and leave our bags prior to check in. It was incredibly unacceptable, unprofessional, inhospitable, hostile. Not worth it.

Her breakfast was made to order and fabulous! Tina was so friendly and hospitable. She had instructions posted so there was no guessing of what to do and where things were.

I have issues with scented laundry soap/dryer sheets. Might think about changing to no scent. Just a thought.

"Tina was a fantastic hostess, and I would stay again."

Breakfast was wonderful - eggs, pancakes, and more, all made to order. Lots of self-serve choices on top of that. Was really exceptional.

The only real drawback was the outside noise pollution. The street has lots of noise throughout the night, both vehicular and people. Definitely recommend earplugs.

Beautiful restoration of a historic building; short walk to a fantastic Turkish restaurant around the corner; plenty of explatory material in the room and in the lounge; delightful owner

Nice private bathroom was down the hall, not attached to the room
