Horrible Experience – Misleading, Unsafe, and Poorly Managed Our stay at this villa was nothing short of a nightmare. First, the pictures on Booking.com were completely misleading. The actual villa was outdated and poorly maintained. The rooms had a strong odd smell that made one of my friends sick and left the rest of us feeling nauseous. To make matters worse, there were many bugs, even though the villa wasn’t particularly open to the outdoors. We were shocked to find that the main lounge had no air conditioning, which was not disclosed beforehand. On top of that, the villa felt unsafe because the locks on the doors and keys weren’t working properly, which was a major concern for us. The villa was located in a busy neighbourhood, and with just the four of us girls staying there alone, we felt extremely vulnerable and uneasy the entire time. We contacted the property manager the same night we arrived to explain our concerns. We told her we would stay that night but planned to leave early the next morning. We offered to pay for the one night but requested compensation for the remaining days of our booking. While she initially agreed to look into it, the communication afterwards was terrible. Despite repeatedly asking for updates, she either ignored our calls or gave us the same vague responses. In one of our earlier conversations, she asked me to cancel the booking through Booking.com so she could process the refund. However, when I asked for guidance on how to cancel it (since I couldn’t find the option) and requested she process the refund directly to my card, she suddenly claimed she needed to speak to her management. This was contradictory and felt like a runaround to avoid resolving the issue. Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Between the misleading listing, the unsafe and uncomfortable conditions, and the property manager’s lack of professionalism, I cannot recommend this villa to anyone. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere!

AMAZING SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY

All is good

The only annoying thing is the dogs barking all the time, even during the night time. Which affected the sleep sometimes.

We had a wonderfull stay for a total of 6 persons at the 3 BR Private Pool Das Villa. There is plenty of space in the villa complex, especially the master bedroom is very large and spacious. Also you have several sit areas in the villa inside/or outside the rooms on the balcony, so your kids can enjoy themselves in their own lounge area. All facilities in the villa are working fine: e.g. all airco's are ice cold, water is running well, fast Wifi internet, bed rooms are neat and clean. There is also a kitchen area where you can cook and heat up food, with a large refrigerator and even cutlery and crockery is provided. Last but not least, we very much enjoyed swimming in the large private swimming pool. The pool is very clean and has also a part for small children, as the water there is only knee deep. But in the 'normal' swimming part, the water reaches breast/neck height. It is possible to park your car securely within the villa complex if you happen to come by car. Overall it was a wonderful and fantastic experience, we booked for 3 nights and we genuinely enjoyed our stay at the villa. Next time we are in the Bali area, we definitely will come back here again :)
