Abbey’s Inn

I stayed 1 night with the kids on a trip to Alton Towers. Brilliant place to stay: clean, well furnished and newly renovated. No noise, secure and very comfortable. Pub across the road is great for meals and Aldi within walking distance also very handy.

If I had to be picky the sofa bed was a little on the firm side for an adult.

Clear communication and easy to find the property. The facilities were as advertised. The room was clean and tidy.

Clean with good facilities, I liked the sensors for walking to the room upstairs.

A couple of extra towels would have been a nice option. Bothe my daughters have very thick long hair, so it was tricky for us to share 3 towels between us. There was one hand towel, but obviously we were sharing this for face/ hand drying.

We liked the comfortable bed. The lovely, clean room. The drink making facilities. The check in process. The house in which the private en suite room is located. The clear instructions and communication. The evening meals at The Huntsman pub opposite the property. The shower and en-suite. The blackout curtains.

The very noisy road, for which we needed ear plugs to sleep. The shallow shower tray.

Very clean and tidy. The pictures do not do it justice . Beds were comfy and the shower was perfect.
