The view was beautiful, we loved the balcony, and the beds were very comfortable. It was also really handy that the property had two toilets.

The property needed a lot of improvement. First, the TV wasn’t working, so we called the number provided. The security staff member was very helpful and brought us a new TV and cable quickly, which we appreciated. However, there were several other issues during our stay. Most of the spotlights upstairs were not working — only one light worked properly. The downstairs toilet was not flushing, and in the ensuite bathroom the toilet appeared to be leaking, as there was sometimes a strange brown liquid on the floor. The ventilation fans in both bathrooms were extremely loud, so we had to switch them off. Unfortunately, once the ensuite fan was off, the bathroom smelled very bad, like mold or stale air. The pop-up drain stopper in the sink was also blocked. Another disappointing issue was the cleanliness upstairs. We found dog hair in the bed, on the floor, and there was also a noticeable dog smell throughout the upstairs area. I understand these are dog-friendly lodges, but it would be much better if there were separate lodges for guests with dogs and guests without pets. It was not pleasant to sleep in bedding with dog hair or deal with the smell. Overall, I didn’t hate the stay, and we did mention some of the issues during our visit, but the property definitely needs better maintenance and cleaning standards. I didn’t want to keep complaining at reception or spend our stay calling the number provided, because we came there to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. It was my brother-in-law’s birthday, and the main reason for our visit was to enjoy the lovely views and nature around the property. The location itself was beautiful, but the lodge would definitely benefit from better maintenance and cleaning.

We were surprised to discover there was no breakfast available on site since you asked! We were very impressed with the appearance of the chalet as we entered. Everything looked inviting as we explored inside. The main bedroom with ensuite bathroom was a special delight. Upstairs the kitchen which was so well equipped and sitting room were very pleasing..For me most importantly the beds were excellent and the heating was immediate. Altogether our experience was very enjoyable.

The shower pole did not secure the shower head and the handle on the double doors was loose.

Excellent location. A well laid out site. Everything was very clean and tidy. Pool and spa facilities were lovely. The little on site restaurant had Excellent food, even catered for my fussy/food intolerant family.

The road bumps but they are necessary to keep the speed down on the road. So, there was nothing I didn't like.

Easy access to the spa and restaurant. The hot tub was lovely!

Perhaps needs a bit of maintenance in areas but nothing major.
