Very neat and clean!

This was the best guesthouse I stayed in. The place to stay if you want value for money.you get everything you need and more. The area is very quiet and safe, close to shops and NWU. Johan can be very proud on what he achieved. If you go to Potch, this is the place to stay.

Everything was more than perfect

We were contacted prior to arrival with full details on everything we needed to know about keys, entrance parking etc. On arrival we were welcomed personally by the owner , who even helped us carry our luggage to the room. Once in the room we were thankful to see there was an airconditioner that had been switched on in anticipation of our arrival. The owner had provided for everything we would need - there was water for the coffee machine , as well as drinking and sparkling water. There were 3 different types of cooldrink in the fridge , as well as milk for the assortment of other coffees and teas that were provided. They provided rusks , romany creams and other chocolate biscuits. We also had a small glass of sherry poured for us and corn snacks on the table on arrival. There was a microwave , induction plate and nice big fridge. Bathroom amenities were thoughtful and complete, with a faceclth for make-up removal, two handtowels each, bathtowels and ample loo paper. Shampoo , conditioner , handsoap and handcream were provided as well as cotton rounds and earbuds. All white towels were fresh and monogrammed in gold . I liked that a table and chair were available for my daughter who needed to study. There was also an outside table and chair , to sit at - with a braai and wood that was available for our use. The bedding was not white - but had a picture of a bird on , which directed our attention to the birding book which was on the dressing table - the host also told us we would wake up to the chirping of the birds in the morning , and may even see the monkey come to feed ! I enjoyed the birding theme being carried through. The location was wonderful , quiet but close to the university. All in all it felt like I had been on an overnight holiday! I would strongly recommend this guest house to any one looking for a place to stay.
