GBThis was an incredible location and beautifully presented cabin. Cabin was cozy, well.equipped, quiet and felt private. Lovely sitting on the balcony listening to the wind in the trees and birdsong. All very clean and the bed was very comfy, with memory foam bed and pillows. There are amazing hikes that you can do from the front door, such as PR3 and another trail up into the mountains. We enjoyed these more than other hikes in the area as they were so quiet- we only saw a handful of other people on them.
It would have been useful to have information on arrival about being careful not to use too much hot water at once (e.g shower and washing up) as we ended up with half a cold shower on the first night.

NLHele vriendelijke gastheer. De omgeving is echt prachtig en doet je mond open vallen. Mooie basis voor wandelingen. Zeker als je de zonsopgang wilt zien zit je hier dichtbij de uitkijkpunten
DEEs war ein traumhafter Ort um ein paar entspannte Tage in den Bergen zu verbringen! :) Alles sah genauso aus wie auf den Bildern! Auch war die Unterkunft ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen :)
Ohne Auto schwierig, da die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit nicht gut fußläufig erreichbar ist (Bus nach Funchal fährt 3 x am Tag) - aber der Besitzer hat uns netterweise angeboten, uns mit dem Auto zum Supermarkt zu bringen :)
