Temple Cafe & Seaside Cottages

The location is beautiful and the staff are very friendly.

Received a different room to what I booked. Expected budget accommodation, but booked for the deluxe room facing the ocean. Was given a superior room, one back which was very clean, but is very old and the room i was trying not to book. some powerpoints were loose on the wall. Aircon didn't work, and room probably would have been better with just a fan. I am a tourism marketer, so I had booked the front facing room to create marketing content for the area.

Great place to stay. Really nice cottages directly at the beach. The otherwise busy road is hidden behind the restaurant and reception, so you only listen to the sound of the ocean and the waves. (I don't understand others complaining about the noise - and I have an extremely light sleep). The staff was very kind to us and offered different kinds of breakfast at any time best for our needs (we got up early and late during our stay). Don't expect a European star-Hotel and you surely will have a great stay here (I had a special offer from booking.com)! The restaurant is awesome.

Shower is very basic with toilet together with shower. Only 1 power connection in the room. Nothing big to complain.

definetely one of the best homestay in Candidasa.. location is UNBEATABLE - they have an onsite restaurants that serve delicious affordable dishes and the manager/owner Miss Enji is such a sweetheart

be careful with the downstep to the bathroom.. not reccomended for seniors guests.. No pool

This is lovely seaside accommodation in Candidasa. A good central location to warungs, restaurants & shops. Our room was very comfortable & clean with good AC & wifi. The gardens are well maintained & the place has a lovely Bali feel to it. It was lovely to see that this property has survived that nasty pandemic. The new owners are gradually renovating each unit. There is a good selection of accommodation available from budget to deluxe rooms, ours had a small kitchen & lounge area. All in all, Temple Cafe & Cottages is a lovely relaxing stay.

The room is tiny and has very basic equipment.

The lady from the counter was very friendly and took the time to sit down with us and chat. She told us they only opened up again some 3 months ago. The laundry service was good and the view out on the sea was great. The food was simple but super nice!

The room we stayed in a bit dirty, the fan only had two settings, off and 5 (all the way), when there should’ve been 6 settings in total. The curtains didn’t cover the gaps above, so mosquitoes and other bugs could just come in. The toilet door didn’t close either.

Great stay, friendly staff, beach view from bedroom was refreshing. The owner was so humble and welcoming..

Good sized rooms and bathrooms with patios. Very clean and quiet. Close to shops and restaurants though theirs served good meals at sensible prices. Well kept and peaceful gardens around cottages that are close to the sea.
