Moulton Lawn House B&B

The property was very clean and modern.

I arrived at 8pm so it was dark. Although the satnav brought me to the hotel the only sign I could see was the post office sign. I had to park up and knock on a resident door to find the hotel. It was next door, the post office! The car park was dark and the only light on was a small one in the conservatory. After a bit more wondering around in the dark did I activate a light that told me the name of the hotel and entrance. The rest was easy once I found the front door.

Recently well refurbished property, very clean with a comfortable bed and excellent shower.

Irish Fields room has no wardrobe with 3 coathooks insufficient for a 4 night stay, glass door to bathroom with large window from bedroom providing no privacy, only power point near a mirror meant hairdryer could only be used standing up, shampoo not provided, noise from visitors to shop below from 6am, room very warm with no air conditioning, only one chair, no daily housekeeping of room and replenishments of coffee etc only on request by text! Owner declined to visit room to discuss further but said he wanted feedback.

What a find! truly beautiful place. immaculate bright and airy rooms. lovely comfy beds. fabulous breakfast. excellent staff made you feel very welcome. would I return…..yes yes in a heartbeat.

I think the only thing I would criticise is the lack of privacy in the bathroom. Could do with a lock on the door.

Staff was friendly from arrival the rooms was so clean and tidy the shower and bath was lovely. Loved the bottle of water and the teas coffee and hot chocolate in the room . It was nice that the bath towel was an actual bath towel not a tiny thing that you can’t wrap around you. Breakfast was really nice and the staff couldn’t do enough for us thank you would definitely stay here again

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was cooked to order. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

Couldn't find the b&b as there wasn't any signage and had to ring them. It would be helpful if it stated that it was adjoined to the post office as this is easy to see.

breakfast was organised very well with a selection board you fill in when you arrive? Location was very good nice and close to get to Newmarket. The room was very impressive, clean and stylish and well finished.

The price was quite expensive, but this was probably because it was a Friday night when Newmarket Nights 🐎🕺 was on.
