Avatar Amazon Lodge & Canopy Park

Everything was great. As its all inclusive, breakfast lunch and dinner were served and chefs are of high quality. They prepare delicious vatried food. The swimming pool was so refreshing. The owners and staff were exceptional, very friendly, caring. Facilities are very nice and comfortable. The tour guide provided was great to spend time with. Everything well organised.

Nothing at all. As its the jungle bugs and mosquitos are expected. We obviously got bitten despite putting on repellent. But we noticed some bites may have been from bed bugs as they didnt look and feel like mosquito bites. We are not too sure but worth mentioning.

The location is amazing -- right on the banks of the Amazon river. The lodge is completely screened in so you can experience the sights and sounds of nature (without all the mosquitoes). The family room is perfect for a family with 2-3 kids. Many other places don't have a pool and let me tell you -- the pool is a lifesaver to cool down in the hot afternoons! Our English-speaking guide did a great job personalizing daily adventures each day, from ziplining to visiting wild animals. The food was phenomenal! The chef was able to accommodate our pescatarian diet. Overall, they welcomed us like family and we would recommend the Avatar for a once in a lifetime experience!

Note: there's only electricity from 6-11 pm, so you must be ok with the heat to be comfortable here.

My room was very nice toward the jungle, so I could sit in my room in the morning and see the money's swinging from tree to tree. Loved the food and tour's.

The zipline is small and some activities are just made for the locals to get money.
