Excellent property in a quiet neighborhood

All nice amenities are included. Very comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Full kitchen with all appliances. The host was excellent!!!

Très bon emplacement pour aller visiter Rome ou aller à la mer en voiture ou voiture puis métro. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et présents. L'appartement est grand et confortable et bien équipé. La climatisation a été très appréciée.

L'annonce parlait d'une maison. Or, c'est un appartement et les propriétaires vivent au-dessus. Le quartier n'est pas terrible, pas agréable de s'y promener à pied. L'extérieur est très petit, pas de place pour laisser jouer les enfants dehors sauf dans la petite piscine.

Big and clean apartment. For us it was a perfect location, not too long drive from Rome, which was the reason for our trip, but with quiet evenings away from the city. Vincenzo, a great and helpful host.

Il proprietario è stato molto gentile ed è venuto incontro alle nostre esigenze. Zona molto tranquilla e circondata dal verde.

L’appartamento è molto vecchio, ha zanzariere e sedie rotte, acqua piena di calcare, frigorifero che non si chiude. Però la cosa peggiore è stato il pessimo livello di igiene e pulizia. -Bagni: Quando siamo arrivati abbiamo trovato dei peli sul water nel bagno grande. Il bagno piccolo non era perfettamente funzionante, in quanto puzzava di fogna e l’acqua non scendeva nel bidè. In entrambi i bagni lo scarico non funzionava bene. -Camere da letto: Pulizia dei letti davvero indecorosa. Le lenzuola di un letto erano macchiate e nel secondo letto c’erano capelli di diversi colori e tipologie (da vedere le foto allegate). Inoltre, il materasso di uno dei due letti era scomodissimo perché ci si sprofondava dentro. Infine, nell’annuncio non è specificato che le stanze da letto sono prive di condizionatore. In ogni caso abbiamo portato dei ventilatori e abbiamo acceso l’unico condizionatore della casa, che si trova all’ingresso, e questo ci ha permesso di sopravvivere ai 35 gradi di luglio. - Cucina: Nella moca c’era caffè vecchio ed era piena di muffa. Il frigorifero non si chiudeva bene. -Piscina: L’acqua della piscina era sporca. Inoltre, la piscina non è a uso esclusivo e questo non è specificato nell’annuncio. Consiglio in generale di rivedere la pulizia dell’appartamento.

Location is excellent if you plan to go around Rome area with a car. Quiet and pastoral neighborhood. Vincenzo, the owner, was very welcoming and ready to help with anything. House is equipped with everything you'll need for a stay.

Wifi is limited to only around 4-5 devices simultaneously. A bit problematic for a large family where everyone has 1-2 devices.

The location really is what it claims to be: your home away from home. It's a pleasant, spacious and typically Italian house that immediately embraces you. Make one run to the local supermarket, fill the fridge, and you are as comfortable as you can be. We spend 10 days here during the height of summer but even with 30+ degrees outside, the rooms stay cool and fresh. Ostia is a good location for planning your activities in and around Rome if you don't want to stay in the busy center itself. Something to keep in mind ( easily seen on Google maps ) is that the house is in a quiet, suburban area, and not directly on walking distance to Ostia's center. Having your own car, which can be securely parked on-site, helps a lot. Vincenzo, your host, is a great guy, never in your way, but no more than one message away if you need some quick advice.

Nothing really. We did not use the pool-area as much as we anticipated but that had more to do with our busy schedule than with the pool. If you only stay for 1 or 2 days and have not been to Italy before, the local traffic may feel a bit challenging but once you've learned how to play the game, even that will turn into some sort of fun.
