This was the best escape from Auckland City! Nestled on a hill in the Manukau Peninsula near the lighthouse, it offers stunning sea views across the SkyCity—especially at night when the lights are simply magical. Raj and Agata were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Agata kindly shared a taste of her “secret” Polish dishes—and that horseradish really packs a punch! Their lovely daughter Maya shared her toys with my daughter, and it quickly felt like a little kids’ paradise. Evenings by the fire roasting marshmallows (a first for my little girl!) and soaking in the spa made the stay extra special. Everything was just perfect—we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful views and surroundings. The bed was very comfortable.

Just a small note — the curtains in my room were missing a few loops to attach the hooks. The blankets had a slight musty smell, and the sofa and chair could do with a little refresh.

The owner was very kind and even gave us some of his rice so we could cook dinner. The facilities were very comfortable and clean, and there was a jacuzzi we could use 🤩

Lovely place to stay with very welcoming and friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. An amazing peaceful view to relax to.
