Villas Santa Cecilia Villa Velyn en Yelapa

It was a nice villa in a wonderful location and the host was very nice. It was lovely to have a balcony and a pool.

It had some deferred maintenance issues (rusting fixtures, chipped or missing tiles, etc), and lacked some minor amenities such as paper towels, salt, ice cube tray, shampoo. Bed linens were not changed during a five night stay.

The location is great, the view is great. The potential of this place is great

We travel to Mexico often, we have stayed at alot of different types of places. We know that often places are different or outdated which is totally fine. However this place wasnt clean. There was stuff all over the floors, countertops had dead bugs and dried food. Sink was dirty the bathroom mirror has someone's toothbrush spit all over it. Day 2 the internet was disconnected due to lock of payment. This place could have been great if it was cleaned. I think a clean place to stay is pretty simple.

We loved absolutely everything about this place!!! While the pictures were very accurate, they almost don't do it justice... I was even more excited and pleased with the property when I saw it in real life!!! The highlight for my husband was being able to watch the whales breach and leap from the ocean right from our beautiful wrap around balcony!!! I loved watching all the birds soar around us right at eye level because we were higher up on a cliff... Also loved the sound of the ocean, the local cat that came to visit us daily and the overall comfort and attention to detail... 🥰❤️🥰

Can't think of a thing... If I'm being objective and trying to think about what other people may or may not want, I would just mention that the property is at the top of a bit of a hill, and there are several stairs going up and down to get to the street... Not ideal for people with mobility issues... Also, there is no tv... So not ideal for people who would rather watch tv than the abundance of nature and beauty that surrounds the place... Oh, I did think of one thing for myself... The beautiful pool was just a bit too chilly for me to spend an extended amount of time in... Great for a cold plunge tho!!! 😘❤️🥰

Amazing location and visit!

Great location. Owner was very responsive. We loved Yelapa, this was a great place to stay for our first time there.

Nice hosts, comfortable king bed, almost private pool and great location, all with fantastic sea views. Note, that this villa has also been listed under different names, Villa Cecilia, Villa Velyn, etc.

Except for the above mentioned, the accommodation is very basic and a bit run down. We would stay again, but not for the price paid, unless there were significant updates.
