"Ran down house that will ruin your holdiays"

1.0

Nothing, total Desaster!!!!!

Everything, the villa is a total mess and the owner only replied on the last days and before ignored all of my messages. Details: - TV is broken does not work, tested to connect my charger to same energy plug, the plug works but TV is broken, cannot be turned on via remote control also not via buttons on it directy - Door is broken downstairs, not possible to lock the doors downstairs - Pool was not cleaned, when arrived (many leafs inside) - Walls are half colored and have dirt on it - Some walls have mold on it, same as the windows cover in bathroom (maybe even mold can be harmful for health) - Bathroom downstairs is quite dirty, full of dirt on mirrors and also full of dirt the sink looks worse than at a construction site, the toilet looks like on a train station so dirty. the toilet paper holder is broken an lies beside the sink. - Bathroom & tub upstairs looks like more in a horror movie or a abandoned house, very dirty and lot of dirt - the lamps are completely dirty, looks like they were picked up at the rubbish - There were ants in the refrigerator, so my first delivery food I had to throw aways as it was full of ants after putting it in there - The bed sheets were dirty with stains on it and also some small hairs were in the bed when I arrived.

"It's a scam! Do not book this accommodation; you will fall for the scam and lose money!"

1.0

I will use this "what you liked" field to start my text about "what I didn’t like" because the story is long, and I hope everyone reads it! I need to share what happened to me so it doesn’t happen to any other Booking.com customer! This accommodation is a scam, and unfortunately, you lose all your money! I booked using my credit card, trusting the beautiful description on Booking.com and the lovely photos of the place. You can cancel for free up until a few days before check-in, but once the full amount has been charged to your credit card, there is no refund policy. In other words, when you arrive at the accommodation, the entire amount has already been paid, and there is no possibility of getting a refund. Well, when I arrived there, the reality was completely different from the photos! It’s an old and very poorly maintained house—stained walls, peeling paint, torn curtains, damaged furniture, very few plastic dishes, and everything reeking of mold. Everything! The house was filthy, with mud inside, cigarette butts, and dirt in the kitchen and bedrooms. The pool was disgusting. But the worst part was the sheer number of spiders and cobwebs all over the house. It felt like a horror movie! To give you an idea, the cobwebs were at head height for someone walking through the door! Spiders were everywhere—on the ceiling, along the sides of all the walls, on the beds, inside the bathtub, on every door and window. It was horrifying; I had never seen anything like it!I immediately contacted the accommodation to complain. There was no way I could stay there with my two children. They told me to leave, take a walk around Bali, and when I returned, everything would be clean. I did as they suggested—I spent the whole afternoon out—but when I came back at the end of the day, everything was exactly the same! The same filth, all the spiders, and cobwebs in the same places!

They completely fooled me! It was late in the day, I couldn’t stay there, and I had to find somewhere else to stay with my kids. I wrote to the accommodation again, and their response was: "What did you expect, the house is in front of a forest!" Seriously, this is absurd! No house, not even one near a forest, becomes infested with spiders and cobwebs unless it hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time! They knew a guest was arriving—how could they not arrange for cleaning and pest control? I’ve stayed in many hotels and houses surrounded by forests, and I’ve never, ever seen anything like this. I asked them to at least move my family to another house since staying in that one was impossible, but I didn’t get any response. They simply stopped replying to me! I had to leave with my family, find a hotel at night, and PAY everything again for this new hotel! In other words, I spent double the money! I continued writing to them in a friendly manner to inquire about a possible refund, considering I had paid the full amount and didn’t stay in the house for even a day or night. After two days, they replied saying that a refund wasn’t possible and that, at most, they could move me to another house. Two days later!! By then, I had already paid the full amount for another hotel and lost a lot of money. They should have offered to move me to another house on the same day. Anyway, you know those travel nightmares that sometimes happen? This was one of them. I’m sharing this experience because I hope no one else has to go through what I went through with this company (which, by the way, operates under several names—you’ll notice this after making the reservation, as each contact comes from a different "company name"). We work so hard to plan our vacations, pay everything in advance, only to fall into the hands of scammers and ruin our family holiday. I’m so upset about this! I truly hope Booking.
