Cute, Stylish 1 Bedroom Leeds City Apartment

Great location, very spacious apartment. Has everything you need for a few nights.

Original messages to access the apartment stated a link showing how to use the lock would be provided, and there was no link. The plug on the far side of the room is hanging out the wall. A review from June states the same thing, so could really be fixed by now. TV also slightly broken with white lines going down the screen. Shower door also broken, has come off the frame; still opens and closes, but not very easily. Mattress dented slightly on one side, which meant one of you is sleeping on a bit of a weird dip. Single pane glass in the windows means you can hear pretty much everything from the street level, which isn’t great at the weekend when everyone’s getting rowdy at 1am, and also busses stopping every 10 or so minutes, but also not really the fault of the host, just something to consider. Being above a takeaway it smelt of food a bit and got quite hot, but a fan is provided. Really don’t like the £250 deposit. A preauthorised one would do, as currently I have £250 sat god knows where with a 14 day wait to receive it and only a message of it will be returned. Can see from other reviews issues some people have had getting it back, so I’ll be doing a chargeback if it’s not returned in 14 days.

Very convenient and modern apartment in a central location. Perfect for a weekend within Leeds or nearby. Access and communication with the host was excellent would definitely recommend.

Nothing it was very good.

This is one of the worst properties I have ever stayed in. It’s a fire hazard as well as health and safety hazard. Broken wardrobe. Wardrobe wood left on the floor behind door. Wardrobe mirror the length of the appartment left behind a small wardrobe wooden rickety wardrobe. Broken glass shower door does not open and close properly. Bathroom sink is blocked filling up. Extremely hot in the property they had to bring a fan because I have health issues. The blanket on the bed was not clean makeup stains on blanket and the head board. Bedside plug was hanging off the wall I could see all the wires. Circular seat in the room has no cushion. Someone’s food was on the kitchen side and also non used appliances behind the front door. I would not recommend staying. Deposit not payed back within 14days. I messaged to ask when I would receive my deposit they said they will send it. It was only when it pasted 14days and I asked where is my deposit they then processed it supposedly which takes 10days to process! I told them about the heat it took them a whole day or so to get me a used fan. I have still not yet received my deposit. I am very disappointed and I wouldn’t want anyone to go through the same experience. I told the property management about all the issues they said they would get someone to fix the plug and sort the covers and any issues. Nobody came to fix anything or provide clean bed covers. I can’t upload anymore picture unfortunately I would.

The location is fab, easy to get to, fab instructions on how to get into the apartment, lovely, modern,clean apartment.

Still waiting on getting the deposit back which is annoying but it does state upto 14 days but still in other places I've stayed the deposit was refunded on the day of leaving.

Spotless, all the facilities you’d need, excellent location

While the location is excellent, you can hear EVERYTHING on the street below you. Took me 2+ hours to get to sleep both nights I stayed. Also, the WiFi did not work despite being given the correct password

It was spacious and clean.

The location. It was very noisy in the evenings as it is near pubs and main road. We found it hard to sleep.

Cheap apartment, with central location.

Noisy: Single pane windows above a bus stop on one of the busiest roads in central Leeds (map appeared to be on a side street). Two terrible nights of sleep. Poor bathroom: electric shower on the lukewarm side of warm. Tiny basin nearly completely blocked. I was forced to unblock it to avoid overflow (see photo). Poor customer service: deposit required as a payment (not just authorisation), larger than cost of 2-night stay, to get entry details. Still no confirmation that the refund has been triggered a week later despite confirmation the apartment was left in good condition. They claim their small print allows up to 14 days. Sorry but that is terrible customer service. I’ve had an option to review a stay timeout out previously and still didn’t get the refund. I won’t allow that to happen again.
