"Great short break."

7.0

Great location. Perfect for short break. Comfortable. Great heating and hot water.

We liked the property and its location. Improvements could be: Terrace area and outside needs cleaning. Washing left in machine which was smelly. Blind needs attention in twin room. Could do with oven proof dishes and a broom. Wall hoover?! as it’s gets very sandy Car directions need more attention. Ignore sat nav.

"Fair. Good location and clean."

5.0

Location and cleanliness.

Bathroom was a total triumph of form over function. Completely impractical and quite hazardous, despite its ritzy appearance. Tripped over the edge of the pedestal on which the bath stands; bath large enough for a football team and too high to climb into easily; shower narrow. The heat in there (which one has to leave on to ward off damp) was unbearable at times; no window. Tap on sink extremely wasteful of water when you need to run it cold. Just dire overall, in our view. Dreaded using it. Secondly, having booked the stay through booking.com, we then had to deal with a second managing agency, to whom we had to pay a breakages deposit (which we did, promptly) and who gave us the key code rather late on the day we were leaving home. Booking.com had to contact them in the end (Booking.com were fine throughout, I must add)

"Welcoming and clean"

8.0

Location great for Porthmeor beach. Down cobbled street to fore street great for gifts and clothes shopping. Harbour beach full of 🐕 not so good, great if you got a dog. Barbara Hepworth sculpture garden Fantastic,. Good restaurants with seafood.

Cottage in lovely courtyard, but bathroom downstairs, and outside space upstairs which made it hard to carry things from kitchen, also Weeds growing up though paving and lots of dead leaves under built-in benches . Apart from that comfy beds, we'll equipped kitchen and fantastic bathroom. But saying that it is a Fisherman cottage and only so much space.

"Delightful comfy cottage in perfect location."

Location

Shower was difficult for my husband as it was not central in the cubicle and he is a larger man. He bumped his head on the front door the first couple of times of using.

"Good location"

6.0

The location was lovely

When I booked it says parking on booking.com but on the coastal website it has the details of the parking it’s a 30 minute walk up a steep hill. If you have a nice car you won’t want to park it in there. We could not get hold of anyone the first day for parking We had to pay £16 per day to park if you plan on staying in St Ives it’s fine to be parked so far away. But we needed the car daily. So this was a big extra on the visit. They weren’t helpful on the phone as they say it’s on the website but I booked through booking.com not the website. The mattress is uncomfortable and on booking.com it states 2 double beds there is one double and 2 singles. It needs a deep clean especially the kitchen and toilet. 🫣 there was toe clippings in the living room there is paint all over the floor and the outside area needs a clean. I wouldn’t say this was luxury
