It was cheap

We didn't know that we had only booked a room with no en-suite facilities

The location is acceptable

The room was too dirty, full of spider web, I saw bedbugs and carpet beetles. The bed sheet didn't seem to be changed, was dirty and the duvet full of stains. I'm wondering if the duvet it was even washed once. The toilet was dirty too. The experience was so awful, that in my stay I just manage to sit in the chair of the room, I didn't even slept in there. It was so bad that I even stayed took the bus back to London as early was I could. Thankfully I managed to visit the city so I could spend some time before taking the bus. Avoid it, the pictures don't match with the reality. I'm even impressed how Booking.com allows this kind of properties being posted.

They communicated very well

The property was dirty bedsheets were not clean,

Nothing like the listing. It's a shared house in a sketchy area. Loads of rubbish everywhere outside. House smelled so bad. No TV in room. One shared bathroom. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Host was rude, ignored my calls and left my messages on read. We left and stayed somewhere else. I am now disputing the charge with booking.com

Location is close to town

It doesn't look like the picture at all. The furniture, walls, and floors are damaged; they haven't been cleaned in a long time. It stinks. Only one toilet per four apartments is constantly occupied. I had to go to a restaurant to use the restroom. It's a good thing I brought blankets, otherwise it would have been impossible to sleep under sheets that had already been used.
