O2 capsule house OTARU

The apartment is conveniently located in the areas where we can access the amenities, shopping areas, and places of interest. It is very well equipped with the necessary household equipment which made our stay very pleasant, comfortable and homely. My family enjoyed the stay very much and will look forward to book it again for our next trip.

nice apartment up on the hill overlooking town - great views from (small) balcony - watched cruise ship coming in (in a driving snowstorm!). Parking right near apt. Easy stroll to sushadori (street with great sushi restaurants). 2 rooms with 3rd room made by closing sliding doors to living room. Rooms small but cozy. Beds ok. We were two couples and it was spacious enough.

You need to pre-arrange check in on an app (weeks or days) before you check in. It was fine, but make sure you do the pre-check in, as it would be very difficult to do this in the lobby (not sure if that would even be possible). This is a residential apt building, so you need to be pre checked in and have the code to get into the lobby (and then the code for the apt).

Good room and amenities.

Very complicated check-in procedure with slow iPad at the registration. Also very complicated steps to get the keys to unlock the door.

Very convenient to plenty of restaurants and shopping, great to have parking.

Got heaps of snow and couldn’t find a shovel to clear the snow, too many beds crowding the room.

1) Modern furniture and kitchen. 2) good fridge

1) The check procedure was bad and complicated 2) Two survalance cameras ( we found) inside the apartment. Be aware that they are watching you. When unplugged, we were threatened. Very disappointing. 3) This was advertised as 10 beds, it was max 6 bed's (usable) Two large double bed in one rooms was completely stupid. These two filled the room and there was no space between them or any way to walk past, the cupboard door were blocked by the beds and no place to put you luggage. Another room had gap under the walls and was meant to the dinning room, noise travelled straight into this room. 4) Our rental car space was hard to find and again the check was very poor at describing the car park. 5) our rental car was keyed vandalism scratched in the parking area 6) only one side of the cooking top work 7) no place to move rubbish away. After 4 nights we had no space.
