"Good location"

The location of the apartment is excellent. It is across the street from Rawai beach and right next to 7-11. There are many great restaurants and cafes nearby and a lovely massage place right after the 7-11. We walked to everything and it was very convenient. The pool was right outside our building and didn't get too busy. The bathroom and balcony were both spacious. The aircon worked very well.

When we arrived, the linens on the pillows had mold stains on them (see pictures). The bedding in general smelled quite musty. The bed was also extremely hard. If you sleep on your side, it's very uncomfortable. Wifi was working, but sporadically and a bit slow. We did not reach out to the host to replace the pillows and bedding as the host's initial reaction to some questions (e.g. Is it possible to check in early and if not, can we leave our bags somewhere? + Can you recommend any restaurants nearby? + Could we have extra pillows?) was quite abrupt and we were told they are not a hotel. We were aware of this but have stayed at other apartments where this was sometimes possible so we thought it wouldn't hurt to ask... After our reply, they did sort out an alternative (putting our bags in the room while it was being cleaned) and also sent through some restaurants, but the experience made us feel quite uncomfortable so we did not want to be "difficult".

"Excellent"

It's in the better part of The Title. Facilities are great here and very well maintained. Close to 711 and tons of restaurants but quiet at night. The room was spotless and had a washing machine, which is essential in my view. Excellent AC....quiet and cool.

My only gripe is that the bed cover/duvet was a bit thin and made of polyester which meant it wasn't very breathable. To be fair, the owner turned the room around at short notice with the previous guest checking out late so could have been why.
