The complex is excellent: good security, lovely ground leevel swimming pool and a rooftop pool. The fitness room was OK. Location is good with plenty of restaurants, bars and only 10 minutes walk to the beach. My issues are with the host

I knew there swas no internet and asked why? I got no reply. In fact there is internet but guests have to work out how to get it. The host should provide information on this. The TV is indeed there, with just 6 Thai channels, one American movie and one Chinese channel, from 48 available. So the host has chosen not to provide a proper TV service. The pots and pans should be thrown away. Scruffy and worn is the best way to describe them. Thhere is no glassware, just teacups.There was no water provied, not even the standard two bottles. Absoluely nothing. I know the host is based in China (from the country code for contact) and I suspect the reason there are no services like TV and Internet is because he is not a Thai resident. There have been special arrangemnt with Chinese nationals regarding investment in property and that may have some bearing on the issue, but I'm fairly sue it is possibkly not within Thai law to rent out properties without being resident in Thailand.
