Kudugman Beach Cottages - El Nido

The food is amazing. The staff are really nice. The place is a paradise. You don’t have nothing to worry about.

Maybe they can improve the shower.

We have stayed at Kudugman for four nights with our 4 y/o boy. The location is amazing: we stayed at the beach cottage, so it was like having a private beach just for us. Since you can only access the place via boat from El Nido, we absolutely loved the quietness of the place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The portion of the meals are very generous and the quality is good. We also booked tour A and C with their speed boat: the three men on the boat were very professional and took also great care of our boy, especially in a circumstance when the sea was quite rough and it was a little hard to swim back to the boat, bringing him safe back.

The shower and toilet could be renovated as they look pretty basic.

We loved the free kayaks and explored some stunning caves nearby. The beach is pretty but not that big and has a steep drop off so not ideal for kids, but the view and the dining area on a platform in the trees is really beautiful. We paid for a half day tour - much more expensive but you get to visit some of the lagoons early before everyone arrives and the crew are very good.

The food was better than most food we have had so far - however, it was very strange that they served a day group with 4 extra dishes including whole grilled fish, while their own guests were served chicken. They should think to offer their guests the option to pay extra for fish… It feels like a very nice hotel with good standards of service on a quiet and intimate beach - so playing cheap pop music at the “bar” which is also the outdoor dining area feels very at odds with the peaceful secluded beach feel. We asked them to turn it down a few times as it’s such a small area you can’t get away from it, but inevitably the sugary radio music was back on… The double bed was a bit small for us but otherwise the room is clean and has what you need.

Everything at this place was designed for maximum comfort, relaxation, and warmth. The food was incredible, and we loved that there is no menu. The chef decides breakfast, lunch, and dinner for everyone which invites a homey feel and takes away the pressure of looking at a menu and deciding what you want. Alex and his family + team are so kind and attentive. We are so grateful that they did so much for us despite the weather. Each cottage is super comfortable and nothing beats waking up next to the ocean daily. Thank you Kudugman for the best experience we had in the Philippines.

Friendly staffs very accommodating and approachable, super nice. Kuya Alex G. explained everything. The room was clean and spacious. The food was delicious and enormous my goodness. Kudos to Jinky and Teddy from the dining they see to it that we are good. The island hopping tour thanks to Zandro guide/photographer haha, Teddy an extra tour guide, you guys are the best, and to Captain James.

Idyllic relaxing hideaway! Beautiful beach, comfortable rooms, stunning views and welcoming hosts.

We (3 adults) stayed 4 nights at Kudugman Beach Cottages and it was a wonderful experience. We were never more than 5 guests at the same time, it really seemed like being on a private island! Our rooms were big, clean and obviously very quiet as there was nobody else nearby. You can even spot monkeys in the early mornings. Even if we had lots of rain showers, this was still really enjoyable and we made good use of the beach, snorkeling equipment and kayaks to visit the caves and sandbar nearby. We also did a tour (Tour C) with Sandro and James, and beat the crowd almost on all spots and even managed to see a couple of turtles, it was incredible! All the meals were amazing, they truly have a wonderful chef who managed to deal with our various dietary requirements. But I want to say a massive thank you to the 3 wonderful girls at the bar/restaurant, Faith, Jinky and May Ann. They deserve 5 stars for their service, friendliness and beautiful smiles. Also, I suggest to all the future guests to ask them for karaoke, they will be very happy to get the mics and share a great time before or after dinner!

Nothing important, maybe adding a clothes line or rack to dry the wet clothes would be useful.

Amazing location, great facilities and terrific staff. To repeat!

The rocks and seaweed on the beach begging too close to the shore for my liking. But it’s a minor inconvenience really.
