Contento Apartments

The apartment is quite small but the arrangement of furniture makes it feel bigger. For that it´s so small, it is extremely well equipped. Anything a traveler needs is right there. The apartment is located in the lower part of the city which is more congested and hence the living quality (especially fresh air) is a little less than elsewhere. Given that, I think the price could be a little lower. Also, it is located on the ground floor, so the view is a bit disappointing (compared to many other places in Almaty that have stunning mountain views). To prevent people from watching you inside the apartment, the host found a brilliant solution: a second curtain inside the room so that one can leave the window open and lights on without everyone watching you. Many apartments in Kazakhstan now have full video surveillance: a face scanner when you enter the living complex, another camera when entering the building block and yet another camera in front of the apartment door). Honestly speaking, so much surveillance makes me rather feel uneasy as I found Kazakhstan to be a relatively safe place (even before cameras were installed everywhere). I personally don´t like to have every single step watched and my face scanned whenever I enter a living complex. If you´re not there for the views and fresh air but for convenience, I can highly recommend staying there! Communication with the host (in English) was pleasant and straight-forward.

The toilet and shower make a strange noise. At first, I thought something was broken but then I realized that this was normal. People are smoking in front of the building :(

아파트 단지가 깔끔하고 현대적 입니다. 출입절차가 복잡한거 같지만 몇번 해보면 편리하고 보안이 좋습니다 방은 작은 스튜디오 원룸인데 실내도 매우 깨끗하고 필요한 모든것이 있습니다.(세탁세제 포함) 위치도 좋습니다. 주변에 마트. 쇼핑몰 이 있어 필요한 것. 먹을 것 사는것도 편리 했습니다

An absolute nightmare! Left us on the street! This was the worst travel experience of my life. The host cancelled our check-in at the very last minute when we were already at the door with our luggage. They didn't care at all that we were exhausted and stranded in a strange city. Zero empathy, zero communication. This person should be banned from the platform!

Very comfortable, clean, well prepared and new apartment with hospitable and responsive staff. Perfect value for money in a good location with all the facilities needed. Allowing special requests, like later check out or leaving the luggage.

There are a lot of codes and doors but this is just something to note. On the other side it is at least safe and you can have a space where you can leave the luggage for late departure.

Hands down - this is my favorite apartment that i ever booked through this platform here. You can feel how much effort the host is putting into it - very nice furniture, good quality items wherever you look, a lot of attention to details. On top, it was clean, the location is nice, the key handover and information very easy.

The fact that i didnt book it for more nights. Everything else is just 10/10.

A minimalist and very affordable apartment in a great location close to the city center. Getting around was easy and convenient. The apartment was comfortable, and the owner was very friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and stress-free. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Almaty

The walls are quite thin, so noise from neighboring apartments can sometimes be heard. However, it was still okay, as it was only noisy during the daytime and the apartment was quiet again at night
