Position was great. Very clean. Host was very helpful. Close to train. 1 level of stairs. Well equipped. Comfy beds.

Apartment is rather large for this pricing. Location, friendly and flexible customer support, deposit returned smoothly. Great terrace.

Shower door was broken. The bed in the second bedroom could have been bigger.

La localisation et la climatisation.

Nous sommes arrivés dans un appartement très sale. Les photos postées sur l'annonce ne correspondent pas avec le logement que nous avons découvert à notre arrivée. L'appartement est vétuste et pas entretenu. Les équipements sont abîmés : les portes fenêtre ne ferment plus, le porte serviette ne tient pas, peu d'ustensiles dans la cuisine, du fromage encore sur la râpe, plaque de cuisson inutilisable, fuite du toilette, parasol et chaise longue cassé, barbecue dégoûtant...

The apartment did not match the description provided. The furniture was very old and in poor condition. Upon arrival, there was no one to greet us, and I had to pick up the key myself from a nearby restaurant. The apartment itself was very small, and the bedrooms didn’t even have locks on the doors. Additionally, before arrival, I was unexpectedly asked by a third party (via the host) to pay a deposit and sign a contract, including providing personal details and ID photos of all guests — which I found unreasonable and declined to do.

I think the pics are a few years old and it needs a refresh. This feels like they do the bare minimum to airbnb it and not extras that make a stay special. LOTS of steps to climb if that's not your thing. Beach and train to BCN were blocks away, so that works if you don't drive.

Parking around the area is a nighmare so you have to pay. A few blocks away is a bustling restaurant/retail area. Check that out.

Close to beach, close to train station, Mataro itself has a nice old town also in walking distance. Clean apartment with a terrace and air conditioning.
