Lovely, 1898 Jugendstil Design Apartment, old Haarlem city Centre, Fully Renovated with Parkview near Amsterdam and Zandvoort, Bloemendaal Beach

Location only.

Not the standard we're used to with Booking.com, considering that a month ago, and for around the same price, we stayed in a luxury 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 living room house in Galway. This place was cluttered with the owner's stuff. There were no instructions for how anything worked. Every surface was full, with too many plants and candles, which was not good for hay-fever. There was 1 drawer in the kitchen for our clothes, the wardrobe was full! And the flat wasn't clean. The bath jets spat out filth. There was even an empty pizza box in the oven and a half eaten yoghurt with a spoon in it in the fridge. There were stones everywhere on the floor, and you got black feet if you walked without shoes. But the absolute worst thing was the mattress, which was an absolute disgrace. It was vomit inducing.

The location is excellent. I had to travel to Amsterdam every day to attend a conference, and the property is just 5 minutes away from Haarlem train station. Furthermore, Haarlem is a lovely city, with beautiful houses and canals, and far less chaotic than Amsterdam. The apartment is comfortable, nicely furnished, and quiet. The owner is friendly and very accommodating.

Nothing in particular. I find the toilet room separate from the main bathroom not very convenient and a bit claustrophobic. But I know that this arrangement is common for many Dutch houses.

Great flat, fully equipped and decorated with taste. Perfect location in Haarlem, very close to central station so easy to discover Haarlem, Amsterdam or the coast.

The apartement was super cozy, very well equipped and in a great location right next to the park and river. You could really feel that Anandhu put a lot of love in this apartement, it really felt like home staying there. We loved relaxing on the seat right next to the window, enjoying the sun on the balcony and walks in the park. Everything was perfect! Anandhu is a perfect host and welcomed us so friendly. He was always available and helpful. We will definitely come back :-)

great location! and the appartement is perfectly equipped: you will find everything you need for your stay and even more :) the furniture is cosy and the little balcony is lovely! I can really recommend this place and will come back for sure :)

Anandhū is a great host, the Apartment is really beautiful, completely equipped with all what you need and in each corner you will find lovely and artistic details! It's like coming home 😀 The location inbetween Amsterdam City and the Sea is amazing! 100% recommendation!

A great location in Haarlem near the train station and city center.

The property offers more in the description than in reality. No air conditioning, cluttered with lots of personal items around the house, felt like a bachelor pad with one’s items everywhere which felt strange, with only one window to open to allow fresh air into the apartment, and it was not worth the value I paid.
