Sands House - luxury modern studios with secure parking in Epsom, Surrey

Very clean, well maintained and secure. It’s compact but pretty well designed and equipped.

To nit pick: Pillows too hard/uncomfortable/cheap. Shower runs too hot then too cold constantly cycling up and down in temperature and has weak/poor pressure. Location fine if you have a car or bike but a bit of a hike to local shops. The bed is small for two people but fine for one. If you’re tall you will only be able to sleep in one side of the bed as the bed is partially recessed- in terms of the built in wardrobe - and your feet could press against the side of the wardrobe. Overall though it’s good quality accomodation.

Issues with WiFi not being very reliable and poor signal when trying to use my phone's hotspot

Modern and clean. Louise the landlady was very attentive to my requests, generous with cleaning supplies and very helpful in all aspects.

A bit confusing getting there the first time only. Although it’s only two stories but a lift would have been wonderful especially if you’re my age and have heavy luggage.

Really great accommodation, great staff, brilliant location.

Smaller than we booked, due to work needed on original booking

It was neat and clean and having a clothes washing & ironing facility was a big plus.

My husband is fairly tall, but we are very average in size, and the bed was just way too small for us. It was advertised as having a balcony, but windows in the eaves doesn't constitute a balcony, IMO. Advertised as having "streaming service like Netflix", but all we could reasonably watch was BBC. And a kettle is not a Tea/Coffee maker.

The Property inside and out was in good condition, clean and well kept. Good tight security. Immaculate condition.

On my 2nd to last day the inside door handle in my room broke. I contacted the phone number as instructed on our introduction letter. i received a reply after 24hrs and about 12 phone calls. The door was too heavy to open internally without the door handle so I slept with door ajar for one night. When the door handle came off, I was lucky enough to catch the door, otherwise i would have been trapped in my room!!
