Cozy Apartments in Heart of Copenhagen Near Strøget & Højbro Plads

Mycket välordnad lägenhet med bästa läget. Vi bodde högst upp. Genuint gammalt hus och därmed endast trappor. Ett av sovrummen var på loft med smal stege upp.

Lovely spacious apartment and we enjoyed having the extra room compared to a hotel for our 4 day city break. The apartment was as per the photos. The living room was comfortable with a large screen tv. We found the bed comfortable as it had a mattress topper. The kitchen had everything you needed though we didn't use the cooker. The fridge freezer is out in the dining area. All main rooms a good size. The shower room was compact but perfectly functional. There was some outside noise, but it really wasn't bothersome (no need for ear plugs! though we did stay Sunday to Thursday). Wifi was good. Even though it is considered the ground floor there are about 6-7 steps up from the doorway. Access was via a keypad. The floors are a little uneven/sloped, but it is an old property. The location was fantastic and we walked everywhere. Would definitely consider this place again if we return to Copenhagen.

The pillows could do with replacing (a bit lumpy and small continental shape) along with the shower curtain. Very minor points though.

Super location in the heart of Copenhagen with shops and city sights all around un walking distance.

Just a comment, if you are visiting as 2 couples the sound insulation between the 2 bedrooms is limited .

Unfortunately, our experience did not match the listing description. We booked this apartment for 3 adults and 2 children because the description stated there were 2 separate bedrooms. In reality, there was only 1 actual bedroom, while the second sleeping area was an open loft/mezzanine, which did not provide the privacy or comfort expected for a family of our size. The beds were also much smaller than expected, making the apartment unsuitable for 3 adults and 2 children to sleep comfortably. Because of this, we had to leave and book alternative accommodation at additional cost. While the loft may appear in some photos, we relied primarily on the written description stating “2 separate bedrooms,” which we believe is misleading in this case. Communication was polite, but unfortunately no solution or compromise was offered.

The location was very central. There was plenty of restaurants and bars as you step out the door. It is also located in the heart of the shopping district.

The only slight problem was a slight smell coming from the bathroom. I think this was just because the building was so old and the plumbing would not be modern.
