Damson Cottage - Chocolate Box Cottage in Crook, near Bowness

Beautiful little cottage in a lovely location, well stocked kitchen with everything you need for cooking. Highly recommend! No phone signal but WiFi works well.

Could have done with a shower.

Lovely cottage, characterful and more spacious than expected and well equipped. Beautiful location, we loved it. Ideal for a couple. We had very poor phone signal which for us was a plus point!

No dedicated shower, just a bath with a tap attachment. Not a problem for us but some may not like it. Parking would be a little tight if you have a larger car, can't be helped, it's just the nature of the place.

The views. The extras provided. Provisions. Towels. Quaint. Dog friendly.

Parking was an issue. Lack of proper shower.

The cottage was clean, quaint, has lots of character. It is nicely situated, not too far from Windermere and not too far from the motorway if you needed to head north. Definitely recommended.

It was not possible to park in front of the property as was indicated so we had to park up the road. Someone else parked there the whole time. I also missed a shower so I took a regular bath. Not so negative really I suppose, it just takes that bit longer :)

Everything about it was fab, only thing I would of liked was a secure space for the pup but by no means a complaint
