Riad Les Sables Bleus, médina, lumineux et terrasse privée sur mer

We really enjoyed the expansive views out to the Atlantic and considerable space in our private riad. It was like a home away from home. Everything you could need for a comfortable retreat by the sea was available. Lovely places to dine and shop were close by. It was easy to access the waterfront and a taxi. Our host Juliette was very kind and helpful. We were really delighted with our experience in Essaouira and highly recommend this private riad for a family or friends wanting to experience this charming town.

We wished we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely beautiful, spacious and clean. Very well fitted out. Juliette was very helpful and provided a welcome handout before arrival so we could read and prepare for our stay.

Everything was perfect

This is probably one of the nicest accommodation that I have ever stayed in! The photos don’t even do it justice. The house is incredibly beautiful, very spacious and the rooftop terrace is amazing. It is also close to the medina door for easy access and close to the main streets of the medina as well. We loved everything about this accommodation and highly recommend it!

Gem of a place. Very well appointed and very central in the medina. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were made to feel at home.

Fabulous stay in Juliette’s Riad- extremely clean and well equipped with a fantastic view from the private terrasse. Beautifully decorated and comfortable beds. Well situated with restaurants and amenities very close by. Juliette was always nearby if we needed her and ready to answer any questions. We would highly recommend this address and hope to come back soon.

Well it was a complete house which had been rebuilt in the last five years, with nothing spared in terms of facilities on offer. We were on a self catering, although the housekeeper / cleaner would have come in to prepare a breakfast or an traditional Moroccan meal, if required. It was beautifully fitted out and on four levels if you count the terrace on the top, which had wonderful views of the sea, sunbeds, and an outdoor table and seating plus inbuilt barbecue.

Although not a problem for ourselves, as there is no lift, it is not ideal for people with mobility problems. There are numerous mosques dotted around Essaouira and when it is time to pray there is some wailing, which is a bit alarming on the first day or so, but we soon got used to it. Part of the charm of the town.

This riad was gorgeous and our host Juliette was very helpful and welcoming . The view from roof terrace is wonderful and rooms extremely comfortable with great bedding . Highly recommend , this is a genuine find and adds to the delight that is Essaouira!

Quite a lot of stairs to enjoy roof terrace but well worth it !
