Affordable, Spacious, Bright, Warm, Unit in Central Whangarei

Spacious

The access road & roadside crossing were atrocious. Would not have stayed if I had been advised earlier than the day of check in & after the charge had been processed to my credit card. The linen was very musty smelling.

It was close to the venue we were going to for the day/night. Very warm and tidy unit. Nice and peaceful area. We arrived back after midnight and were very tired but this unit was so comfortable

The ants had attacked a bag of sugar possibly left from previous tenants but I took anything that had been spoiled and dumped the rubbish in a bin down the road.

Clean and spacious as advertised

Missing a hand towel, toilet roll holder, shampoo in the bathroom and the tv was too small for the space. I couldn’t see it from the sofa!

The bed was excellent and the situation of the house means it's light and airy with a great view.

When we arrived at 3.15pm, the house had not been cleaned. The owner allowed us to make a cup of tea while he changed the sheets and towels, emptied the bins and washed something in the bathroom. Also, I got into a cold shower before we realised there was no hot water . This was because the gas cylinder was empty. Aaron replaced it when we notified him.

Property was on a hill - a drive to downtown Whangarei but beautiful view of the valley. Kitchen had some food including coffee and a press 😊. Lots of beds.

Mattress a little firm for my taste. Too far to walk to town but I had a car and there is plenty of free parking in town.

Good location, clean and roomy, good shower, comfy bed, off street parking, friendly hosts.

The road to the house not good for my low to ground car, needs more cutlery and new coffee mugs, a free standing toilet roll holder & hooks for clothes in bathroom. Microwave oven works but is rusty, easy to update.
