The cottage was not cleaned properly and there were items that needed attention i.e. the shower light was hanging from electrical wires directly above the shower, dust bins were not emptied, the shower walls and doors had algae in places, the toilet rim was not clean. The photos indicated a beautiful old house but did not show the cottage we stayed in which was a converted double garage with walls right around with no view or access to the garden (the access gate was locked). We never felt safe as the entrance was gated directly onto the street with our vehicle in full view.
ZAWhat I really enjoyed about the place that it has been all renovated and they still kept the "old" look and feel of the house with a bit of a new touch to it. Located across the street from a restaurant so it was very convenient to just go out the gate for dinner and to return safely back.
