"Fabulous quiet country stay."

Stunning views from the master bedroom. Private garden was incredible and the area is so quiet, which we were after. The kitchen was well equipped. I enjoyed the soaker tub and the bed was comfortable. Fresh flowers waited for us in the bedroom. Heather was a fab host. Would definitely stay again.

"Far from the madding crowd, Dartmoor bliss"

Longlands is in a truly idyllic location. So much to enjoy in the home, garden and area. The views from the Terrace and master bedroom are exceptional. SO peaceful with the relaxing bird song and bees humming. The playground and phonebox library was close enough to stroll with our little granddaughter. We dodged the showers to explore various delights of Dartmoor and Teignmouth beach. Heather was so welcoming and helpful

"Paradise !"

This stunning house is simply paradise in a idillic village on the edge of Dartmoor. The home is tastefully decorated and exceptionally well equipped. Our host Heather was there to meet us and ensure we had everything we needed. The gardens are sublime and our dogs had the best time together in this secure garden. I absolutely loved this little gem

"Excellent Stay at the Longhouse"

Heather was a fantastic host and showed us around on arrival. We had all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. The lounge area was excellent for evening relaxing. We selected the Longlands house partly for the view and it did not disappoint!

Some items of furniture such as the dining table cushions were worn. We had to wash some of the plates and cutlery before using them. However, these were minor and did not negatively affect our stay overall.

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, and Heather, our host, was so warm and welcoming. The cottage is perfectly located for a peaceful and relaxing retreat in the beautiful Devon countryside – ideal for enjoying time away with a group
