it was fine. of course, it could have been bigger, but it was fine

So my children were looking forward to swim in the swimming pool but we were not told it was closed for maintenance.

AUNZGreat to have a carpark included and the location was convenient for where we needed to be. Nice to look out at the old (original Auckland) railway station. Two bathrooms were handy. Beds were comfortable enough but not great
It smelled like smokers had stayed before us and the sliding door to the balcony was open when we got there so we assumed the owner must have been airing the place out. The rooms were hot at night and the fans noisey, but the traffic was noisier unfortunately. There were no top sheets on any of the beds! It’s an older style apartment that needs some TLC
AUWe we re told that the apartment has air conditioner, however, there was no air conditioner. There was water cooler.
NZGood location, was clean had everything we needed for our stay, 3 separate bedrooms was great, beds were comfy. Loved the artwork in the apartment, nice having a balcony view. Felt very homely, good to have a washer and dryer. Added bonus to have secure parking. Intructions were easy to follow, for arrival. Used lime scooters to get around the city, and handy with a service station across the road. Would come again.
Was dissapointing for the kids, as the pool was under construction, and they were excited, but then let down. Also someone was on bail, in the room next to us, after midnight woken by police banging on the door, which i thought was ours, open door to see 2 police officers, who said we are just doing a bail check. The person didnt answer and police stood outside the door for approx 5mins, banging and yelling out bail check, my kids got a lil scared. Was no air con, did have plenty of fans, but still pretty hot with them all going.
NZGreat communication with owner - prompt response, easy to contact. Very good location with free carpark.
There's noise all night, people on street, traffic etc. The balcony light was also on for the whole night. There're curtains in the rooms, but don't block it completely. Didn't sleep very well.
