Amazing location and a beautifully restored building Nice owner Creative interior Warm on very cold days

There was a metal roof banging nearby in the wind. Creaking floor boards. The main double bed is on a balcony overlooking the living room so no privacy so no getting up to anything ! Having said all this I would gladly stay there again.

Wonderful place for relaxing with friends and family, definitely staying at Thames Cottage, Old Mill Farm again. Hosts are exceptional!!

The cottage is excellent value for money. It’s like home from home. The kitchen area and utilities are of a high quality.

It is difficult to be to critical because a farm cottage by its very nature will be of the beaten track but on this occasion with the excessive amount of rain in the area the single track roads got flooded and a tree had come down blocking the normal exit. We were fortunate that somehow we were able to turn round. It could have been a disaster. I’m sure this was an exception but it wasn’t for the faint hearted.

Everything, it was absolutely amazing. Can’t recommend enough.

Perfect location, very well equipped and maintained

Wonderful accommodation set on a working farm. Lots of chickens, sheep, cats and horses around. It is so wonderful to see all the animals roaming around and our hosts offered my nephew to help with the feeding of the lambs which he loved so much! The house itself was great. So cosy yet spacious with everything you need to enjoy a tranquil stay in the country. Our balcony was right on the river and we spent many hours enjoying the sound of the water and watching it make its way to the mighty Thames as we know it. Beds were comfy and house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of walking tracks around and a great country pub just 10 mins walking through the fields. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet retreat and a few days of wholesome living.

It is a little gem of a holiday location, very peaceful, fantastic hosts, excellent views and really good value for money

Nothing to dislike

Really nice farm location, great little cottage feel and good sized rooms. Friendly hosts and well presented. Kitchen is great to prepare meals with a separate dining room with hatch between them. The view out across the field with sheep grazing is very nice to wake up to in the morning.

Nothing there that I did not like. Some might not like the narrow roads in but to me that was part of the charm.
