Cherry Cottage 15 min from Yosemite South Entrance

we were group of 4, in big house that can host up to 12, great equipped kitchen, greate barbeque grill which we used with beef stakes we bought in the near town Ockhurst 10 min drive. table tenis was great, netflix access. washing and drying machine available. Shower drain was slow, texted to the hosts and they arranged for a fix on the same morning. thank you!

distance from Yosemite valley visitor center is ~1:20 hours. the distance fro Yosemite entry is 15-20 min

The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was spacious and comfortable, and I would highly recommend it for a fun stay with family or friends in any season. While it’s conveniently close to the entrance of Yosemite, it does take over an hour to reach the visitor center.

If you use two showers at the same time, the hot water may temporarily run out, so it’s important to coordinate the timing.

As a handicapped person, I found the toilets presented a big problem. They need either grab bars or a tall toilet. The low toilets are a challenge to get off and on.

Very nice cottage in a good location Lisa provided very good service and gave us tips re what to see and do Nothing was too hard - brought us an ironing board, and even installed a new dishwasher when the old one wasn’t working
