Rowntree One - Stunning Apartment- Grade II listed

Fantastic location. Beautiful apartment.

Space and location were great

Hard to close bedroom curtains fully (cushion helped) few parts missing off bedframe.

The apartment was very clean, well equipped and so so central. Ideally located for everything.

The flat was fantastic our only problem was aswell are oaps we found it hard to get up the steps on entry thank you very much

Great location, lovely apartment, well equipped, the most comfortable bed ever

A return visit to Rowntree One for us during Christmas Market season the week before Christmas. Returned due to the fantastic location in the heart of York. The apartment is aesthetically pleasing bringing in the old charm with the new, with all comforts taken care of and is a pleasure to return back to in the day for breaks between shopping and sightseeing. Set up perfectly for two and you wouldn’t be disappointed if the day was a raining washout forcing you to retreat back to the apartment.

This can’t be helped as such and is just our personal experience on the two nights we were there, however the M&S Lorries for both nights during our stay were disruptive, particularly with the bed by the window. Often a few at a time waiting to get to the loading bay, or unloading on the road made it particularly noisy. Given the time of year and location directly opposite one of the biggest UK retailers most popular at the time of year this isn’t surprising… Would it have made a difference if the bed head was not right against the window? I think it could help. We did sleep, the bed is comfortable and the room is lovely, just slightly disrupted a few times in the night. It hasn’t put us off returning, but probably not the week before Christmas next time!

The apartment was amazing. So easy to access and perfectly located. Very clean and tidy

Location, space

Pillows, mattress was to soft for us but for three nights it was ok.

Great location, fabulous apartment, really modern but also very fitting for the medieval city of York. A bit noisier at night but what you expect from such a great city location.

Nothing, loved it all.
