Lovley pub 10 min walk down the road that was very welcoming

Lovely setup and decor (with a seasonal flavour). The children loved having the animals on site, especially the pig. Very friendly owner.

Beds are very soft which isn’t normally my first choice, but I had a comfortable night anyway.

Alexa in the living room was a nice touch and the information book was great.

It was a bit dated (needed some TLC in places) and I hadn't realised it only had one bed. Making a sofa bed after a 31km walk was not fun. Too far from walking path of Hadrian's Wall.

The owner made us feel very welcome, plenty of little touches within the property that made our stay as a young family great.

Within a 10-minute drive off the motorway made it a great little overnight stop on our way back south from Scotland. The children enjoyed the novelty of the fold out couch beds. House was well equipped for self-catering, including plasticware for the kids, and as we packed and left, we found a cupboard of toys 🤫 don't tell the kids that.

Everything!! Great host, very clean and great for a family.

Only had one night stay due to travel commitments would have loved longer.
