TD I Coni di Pinurè Trulli with Scenic Valley ...

It was just the most beautiful place to stay. Thick stone walls and finished off to a very high standard, set in an awe inspiring part of puglia. The staff were great to deal with, very helpful with good communication. I would definitely recommend.

We couldn’t seem to adjust the heating.

Exceptional Trulli, beautiful setting and perfectly renovated. The Trulli is absolutely stunning and everything within it has been designed to feel authentic, with beautiful interior design. Everything provided in the Trulli is of high quality, with everything you could possibly need, and more. There is an abundance of plates, bowls, serving bowls, cutlery, etc. along with cooking pots and pans. There wasn't a single thing we needed that had not been provided. We were a family of 8, combining of grandparents, parents, and two daughters with their partners. Everyone loved the Trulli and the setting and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pool and outdoor seating area is a fabulous space to spend the day and the outdoor cooking area elevates evenings sitting by the pool eating and drinking. The gardens are immaculately kept and everything both inside and outside the Trulli are well maintained. Contact pre-arrival from the agent was speedy and helpful and Rita met us upon arrival to hand over the keys and show us around/explain how everything worked. During out stay contact with the agent via Wats App was particularly helpful if we needed anything and they were very good at letting us know when the gardener would be visiting, etc. They also very quickly resolved a small issue with a door. The agent recommended restaurants and beaches, which proved to be very helpful and they also recommended a personal chef to come and cook for us one evening, which was a fabulous addition to our holiday. The local town is a ten minute drive away, with good shops and amenities and Ostuni, Monopoli and Alberobello are all a forty minute drive away, so easy to get to for the day or an evening for dinner. A car is essential.

The only issue we had with the Trulli was when we booked it was advertised as a 4 bed, 4 bath Trulli. Nearer the time to our trip this had been amended to 3 bed, 4 bath. One of the rooms is not a proper bedroom, insomuch as the bed is located on a mezzanine level high up in a Trulli cone. To reach this there is a very small, steep set of stairs and the two adults using this room could not fully stand up. On a hot night they found this room unbearably hot and uncomfortable, even with a fan, as the air conditioning did not reach the bed level. This room does still have it's own private bathroom and small dressing area on the lower level. I would suggest this room is not suitable for small children, nor adults if they have mobility issues. Would probably be ideal for teenagers, who don't necessarily want/need a traditional bedroom. The agent was happy to send a video of this room prior to our arrival, but we had already paid in full. As a party of 8/4 couples we wouldn't necessarily have booked this Trulli if we had known beforehand. However, the information online is now correct. Would still highly recommend, as long as you are aware the fourth room isn't a proper bedroom.
