"We stayed a week with our family, and it was absolutely perfect!"

It was a beautiful spot on Lake Newman! Lots of water toys to paddle around the lake and the jacuzzi had a fantastic view! The owner even came over half way through our stay to clean it. The home and beds were very comfortable. Huvila Haven is a little slice of heaven!

There are quite a few stairs, but honestly, it was not that bad

From the moment we began our booking experience to the very end, the property owners were amazing to work with. The location was easy to find, parking, door code, and amenities instructions were clear and easy to follow. My family lit up with excitement as soon as we arrived and stayed elated the whole time. "Beautiful Home!"

The Huvila Haven Lake home is absolutely beautiful! The views from the deck are breathtaking. The kitchen is built for a chef and has just about anything you could possibly need to cook/bake with. The hosts are wonderful, very attentive and were very easy to communicate with. They checked in with us a couple of times over the course of our stay, just to make sure we had everything we needed.

Nothing at all. The home is beautiful and the hosts were wonderful.

"Fantastic scenic getaway in a great lakefront home"

The house, location and property were all beautiful. And the owners were consistently courteous and thoughtful at every turn. Great communications, kindling for the fire pit, plenty of high quality towels, little signs everywhere on how to use the fixtures and enjoy the property, use of the canoe and life vests, the kitchen was fantastic. The location was far enough out of town to “get away,” but with all of the modern conveniences. We took several day trips no more than 30 minutes away: Silverwood Amusement Park, fishing, wildlife sanctuary, golf… the lake views and sunsets were amazing

The house is situated on a steep hillside with 20 or so stairs to the front door. We didn’t have any issues, but it would have been a challenge for my 90yo Mother.
