"Marietta Luxury House" - Brindisi City Center

Locatie was aangenaam en rustig. Zeer goed gelegen om Brindisi te verkennen. Communicatie met eigenaar/verhuurder verliep zeer positief en constructief. Appartement was mooi en praktisch.

Bedden/matrassen en beddengoed kunnen iets kwalitatiever zijn.

I liked the kitchen facilities. When I travel, I look for a place that gives me the option to do some cooking if I wish. This apartment was well stocked with cooking utensils and had a great microwave oven as well as a stove top and oven. Also a full refrigerator and ample counter and table space for food prep. as well as dining. Could use 1 chopping board. The bathroom had a mirror that was well lit and having a bidet is awesome! The shower was easy to use. Great bed for a comfortable sleep too. Large clothing wardrobe with lots of hangers!Excellent lighting throughout. Also excellent location to access the harbour, many restaurants and close to some main attractions.

That the temperature was set at a constant 20 C. which was too cold for me, especially with a stone floor. It didn't help when I came down with a head cold. I couldn't warm up even after getting into bed. 1 more degree would have mad a huge difference!

Location was great.

In one room there was a poor wifi.

Odgłosy sąsiadów , dwa okna w sypialni które prawdopodobnie wychodziły na ogród sąsiadów , hałasujące psy o 5 rano , nie dały się wyspać .

The location is excellent. It was also great that the place has AC. Obviously the renovation done was good, however, unfortunately, maintenance and cleanliness was far from good.

There was mold all over the bathroom, in the shower, and even in the storage bins provided. There was also mold in the dehumidifier box that was placed in the bathroom. There were small flies everywhere in the bathroom and in the bedroom. In addition, there was no dishwashing soap even though there was no dishwasher. Nor was there a sponge for cleaning dishes. There was also no dish drying rack. I have no idea how the manager/owners expected us to keep dishes clean. We ended up buying dish soap but it is quite inconvenient for tourists to have to go and buy these basic items. I actually have photos of the mold and one fly. But there were many many flies we killed. But probably the worst thing was that every morning, by 7 am, construction work started upstairs. They were demolishing something upstairs, and work started at 7 am every morning so there is no possibility of not getting a very early start. It would have been good if there were notices about this so we know.
