Captain Frank Wightman Cabin at 41 Wightman Street

Worst stay at Anita’s place. Booked the cottage for the night, on our way to Wightman Cottage Anita let us know there was a double booking 😳. We had no time to change to a different booking, so we agreed to stay in a room, which is one bedroom away from hers. Keep in mind, she explicitly said that that specific room isnt even listed on any of the websites. In person i kindly asked for a discount due to the room within the house, not NEARLY getting to the experience of the cottage outside the house - which Anita very kindly agreed to.. however thereafter, the conversations on the phone has been super unprofessional. Nevermind being falsely accused of smearing HUMAN FESES on the bathroom walls (!!!?? 😳🤣) We ended up having to pay the full R900 of the cottage that was BOOKED, but given away. Such a unpleasant experience, wouldnt recommend booking with her.

Communication with host to collect keys was poor.

Well appointed room & bathroom with everything provided to make my stay comfortable. Hostess friendly & helpful.

Minor teething problems which hostess is dealing with but didn't affect the pleasure of my stay.
