Roof Terrace Two Bedroom Apartment - Walk to Beach

Good location

The accommodation did not meet reasonable cleanliness standards during my stay. The hallway had a very strong unpleasant smell throughout, which made the environment uncomfortable. In addition, there were cleanliness concerns within the property itself which affected the overall experience and enjoyment of the trip.

The location was very close to the city centre and the beach. Gave early check in.

There were no toiletries in the bathroom. Smoking in the property is strictly prohibited but still could smell smoke. Needs a little refurbishment.

A lot of stairs and no lift, and a lot of mould in the property.

The house was dirty, the smell in the common staircase was simply unbearably awful. The house requires deep cleaning and cosmetic repairs.

Loved the duplex split floors fro our family of 5, gave us a lot more space than a standard hotel room . Roof top terrace was great in the morning sunshine for a coffee and breakfast. Host was brilliant with instruction and we were parked up nearby and in easily. will def use again.

Location was central and close to the bars, restaurants and beach. The roof terrace is very nice, and the beds were comfy. We travelled as a group so was good location for visitiing bournemouth

The shower holder in the bathroom was broken which was annoying when showering (could easily be fixed). Also nowhere to drop your bag off if you arrive in the city early (before 3am) 10am checkout also a bit harsh, could easily do 11am if check in is 3pm.

The apartment location is great, not far from the beachfront but unfortunately is above a restaurant which made the apartment smell of food and made the terrace unusable.

We booked this apartment to use the roof terrace, which is what drew our attention to the advert but with food smells, broken patio furniture, weeds and broken bamboo patio screening we couldn't use it. The sofa bed was stained, the toilet seat broken and there was no bathroom towel rail, just holes in the wall from where it had been. The bathroom didn't have a proper shower and was damp in places. it's such a shame as this apartment could be lovely if these things were fixed as it's a great size and location. In the current condition it is overpriced and no partial refund was provided even though I requested this from the apartment owner. We will not be returning and I have noticed since booking and re reading the reviews that others have had similar experiences with no attempt to make improvements.

Lots of stairs in order to get into property, the pull out bed was broken which caused a sleeping arrangement issue.
