Sunridge Fishing Lodge with Hot Tub & Giant Cinema

Everything about this property was exceptional, and it's just as nice as in the pictures. The location is perfect, beautiful setting, location, surroundings and views off into the hills/countryside. Damian, the host, made the whole booking process a pleasure, and he couldn't have been more helpful with questions about the building and surrounding areas. The finish and cleanliness of the property was second to none. And for those that appreciate a good shower, it's large, has a big head, good water pressure, and lots of soft fresh towels. The Hub and cinema screen is as good as it looks, you can login to YouTube and all the streaming app's you need, and the cinema surround system is very high quality too - It's a proper cinema experience. The property is easy to find, and is a very short drive (or long walk) from Yealmpton, which has some nice pubs, including The Rose & Crown where you can get dinner and Sunday roast to a good restaurant quality. (Think fancy but relaxed country food pub, not local village pub) I'm already thinking about going back again to try one of the other properties they have at this location. I would and will highly recommend to friends and family for pretty much any type of occasion.

Nothing. If I had to be really picky, it might benefit from a second fridge tucked away somewhere if you're a large group or family.

Property was of of very high standard and very clean, beds very comfy and appliances are all top end, there is Tv galore, with one in the living area with a xbox console, one in the mezzanine area with 2 single beds and a tv in the master bedroom all with netflix etc, also the separate no building called the ‘hub’ has a high end 4k epson cinema projector with a full dolby Atmos surround system, loads of 4k DVDs are neatly stacked including 3D specs, it really feels like your in an Imax theatre. Also there a retro games arcade games cabinet with 1000’s of games. Log burner is a great addition with logs supplied, it also has central heating system with underfloor heating so it would be very warm in winter. There is also a hot tub which we didn’t get chance to use, but it looked good. The property is set what seems like a very remote country setting with loads of places to have scenic walks but you are only a short drive from Plymouth and various beaches

Absolutely stunning accommodation in the most beautiful location, the lodge was immaculate and the beds were so comfy. My kids loved the cinema room which had a retro arcade machine and the hot tub on our lawn which provided plenty of enjoyment. The host, Damian was so lovely and friendly, it really felt like home from home. We had a fabulous time and we cannot wait to come back 😀
