"Newlyn is very good for eating out, with quite a variety of options. Also the local Film House is excellent, with great"

9.0

Fantastic location with a truly stunning view. One could sea looking down on the beach and the town. Very nice bathroom and shower room, comfortable beds.

The kitchen cupboards are a little dated and have been painted, which has worn somewhat, especially around the handles. It is s minor detail, as the property is very good.

"Perfect house for a family stay"

10.0

Peter was a fantastic host - great communication throughout. The house is amazing - such a stunning location and only a short walk from the village with great amenities. The walk is very hilly but we loved it - and it makes for some stunning views! The house is lovely and spacious, beautiful garden and three toilets which is a bonus when you have 2 young children! We had such a fantastic time. It was a great base for exploring other areas too - St Michaels mount, Lands End, St Ives, Mousehole. And being able to park right outside the property is great.

Nothing to dislike!

"Lovely relaxing home away from home in perfect location."

10.0

The house is on a quiet road towards the top of the village, a short walk from some woods and fields. The seafront is a slightly longer walk but still close. The house has great living spaces, particularly the living room with dual aspect windows overlooking Mounts Bay with views of St Michael's mount and the Penzance sea front. There is a huge TV in the second reception along with a large sofa and balcony overlooking the garden, making a great relaxing space. The garden is a good size and there is plenty of space for entertaining. We had relatives over on our last night and ten people were able to eat a takeaway together in the garden. Everything was clean and well presented. Two bathrooms and an additional toilet. Decent mattresses. Hosts easily contactable and responsive. There is even a good selection of books left at the house for holiday reading.

Nothing really. Better than expected in every aspect.

Superb location, excellent property with great bedrooms and bathrooms plus lounge with great TV and even bigger one in the other "den" room Kitchen with everything you would need from making pasta to a serious Kenwood multi purpose food thingy that also made cocktails.twin ovens Comfortable beds and great utility room Good parking off street for two cars and easy parking on the road. Short walk down hill to central Newlyn with excellent restaurants, cages and fishmongers

"Our stay in this house was very relaxing and had everything we needed."

10.0

Wow the views didnt fail to impress us, if only we could have taken them home! What a beautiful area and a fantastic place to be able to look at morning, noon and night. It was perfectly situated for accessing the South West Coast Path of which we were walking a couple of stretches. The house was spotlessly clean with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen was very well stocked with lovely crockery, plenty of glasses and cups, pots and pans and all the equipment we needed including a coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher. Although we didn’t need to use it, having a laundry room was very handy and also having 3 toilets was a bonus. The showers were great and there was plenty of hot water. We also enjoyed the garden area. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were able to walk down to the town as it looked much further from the house than it actually was and there was a pathway just opposite. The communication from Peter the host was brilliant and we had all the info we needed for the house first of all by email and then at the house as a hard copy in a folder. This all helped immensely as all instructions were readily available including how to get in, how to use all the appliances, how to sort rubbish into the right bags etc. We had a wonderful time and would definitely book this house again when we’re back in this area.

"Lovely spacious property with beautiful views"

10.0

Lovely spacious property with beautiful views Very well equipped kitchen Very responsive host Centrally located within easy distance to many major attractions in Cornwall

A bit nitpicky but would have been useful to have a mirror in the bigger bedrooms to help with getting ready in the morning, but no major issue as there was a long mirror in the hallway There was a slight chemically smell in all the bedrooms probably from cleaning supplies but this was rectified after the windows were left open a while

"Brilliant stay. Great communication with Peter. Lovely spacious comfy, clean house."

9.0

Lovely roomy house. Great layout. Lovely garden area. Bedrooms spacious and comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Spacious lounge and TV room too.

Nothing about the property. I found it a very steep walk down to Newlyn and very steep on the way up-too steep for me who is a bit older!
