GBThe property has parking available beside it (although note my negative comments below on this matter). The shower was very good - powerful and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is quite well equipped, but could do with a dishwasher really. There were enough plates and kitchen utensils for our long-weekend stay. I liked sitting outside on the swing, watching the sun go down. The location is quiet and just outside Builth Wells, so handy for visiting the local area. You could walk into the town from here quite easily. The park is tidy and surrounded by trees. It seemed very pleasant to us.
After the free cancellation period had passed, and the day before we arrived, we were sent this message: "Sign written trade vans, transits, trailers, caravans or mobile homes are not allowed on the park and you will be asked to leave." We have a VW Transporter as our family car, so were naturally concerned about this new rule that was not mentioned on the original advert. The property owner advised us we should be OK, but clearly commercial vehicles are a little iffy at this site - there is a big sign saying "No commercial vehicles" at the entrance. This time we weren't visited by the warden, but clearly it's something that would put us off booking again. This rule should really be made clear in the advert. Some of the glasses in the kitchen were quite dirty. Some of the windows had quite a bit of condensation - we tried opening the windows, which helped a bit. There is a green box just outside the living room window which was making a low frequency hum the whole time we were visiting. It sounded like a pump or a fan running - not a major issue, but it was a bit annoying lying in bed trying to ignore it - once you hear it, it's hard to ignore something like that.
GBPeaceful location but easy walking distance of lovely village with several pubs and restaurants. Comfortable accommodation with good comms from owner. Unexpected welcome bottle of wine and dog treats 🙂
Couldn’t get WiFi to work but signal was fine on mobile for data, so didn’t need it.
GBIt had everything to make my stay so nice that I’d book it again.

GBBeautiful location , very comfortable lodge
Everything was fine
GBLovely comfortable lodge. Spotlessly clean. In beautiful surroundings. Great for a peaceful break away. Lodge had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. Welcome pack was a lovely surprise.
Nothing.
GBCosy, warm, exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed. Very quiet location, and a good base from which to explore local places of interest.
Both of us found the pillows too high, and one of us thought the mattress was too soft, but these are very subjective!
GBQuiet location and very handy for Builth Wells
Nothing really
GBBeautiful setting. Quiet site. Lovely accommodation. Close proximity to show ground
Would be nice to be able to walk around the lake
GBProperty was exceptionally clean, superbly equipped and a lovely hamper pack was provided on arrival. Beds were very comflyso a good sleep was ensured after a long drive. Super secure for the Dogs too.
There was a note inthe Guest book about the deck being slippy, as it sure was as I found out! So some none slip mesh might be an idea just at the entrance door only.
