Cosy 1 bedroom maisonette in the heart of Valletta

I asked for blankets for 4 people, I got two. The apartment smells musty, and the boiler switch was located in such an unusual place that I couldn't find it and had to wash myself in cold water because the owner overlooked my question. There are two fans in the apartment, but no air conditioning. I was there in October so it's not a problem, but in the middle of summer it will be a huge problem. Not to mention the mess, because I got an apartment in which there were pieces of chips scattered around from the previous tenants, and ants were already feeding on them. Same thing on the couch. I have been to Velletta many times, but I have never found such a poor apartment. The only plus is the location.

Toilet is on a mezzanine level which is hard to access if you have mobility problems.

The location is perfect. In the heart of Valletta.

There is no pictures of the bath and toilet and that is on purpose, because the toilet is in a small nook little above the floor which is reached with staircase. Very inconvenient and not for olderly people. There is no proper doors, but someting like folding plastic harmonica doors. The wood casement of windows is very old and the do not close well which causes draft all the time. I do not know how it should be in the cold months, but in beginning of May was very cold. There are no proper blankets or duvets for such cold house.

Excellent location, in heart of Valletta, very easy access, clean towels and a kind host. New equipped kitchen (but with a rusty boiler..)

The appartment was much different than it appeared in photos. The bathroom was too short, small and difficult to access. You had to bend in order to enter the wc and there no space to leave your stuff. The floor was dirty and it was obvious that had not been cleaned. There was no balcony door and the sound insulation was terrible. The kitchen had an awful mouldy smell. Definitely not value for money...
