Luxe woonboot in de natuur aan doorgaand vaarwater

De locatie was fantastisch! Uniek om te logeren op het water met alle comfort.

Gute komfortable Ausstattung, wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Vor allem nachts alles sehr ruhig! Morgens kommt dann der Ruderverein vorbei gefahren.

Das Beiboot, welches eigentlich zu Hausboot dazugehört und mietbar wäre ist 3 Tage vor unserer Ankunft defekt gegangen und stand nicht mehr zur Verfügung! Die Bilder waren allerdings schon länger bei booking.com rausgenommen. Wir wollten selber Boot fahren und dieses Beiboot, war der ausschlaggebende Grund zur Buchung. Das fehlen hat uns dann kräftig den Start vermiest.

Zwar 10 Autominuten von der Innenstadt entfernt und in einem Industriegebiet, aber dafür eben auch sehr ruhig und beim Blick aus den Fenstern grüne Natur und ruhiges Wasser.

Its like a floating apartment really : 2bedrooms, one with split bed (for the kids), and a mbr with a queen (or was it a king?). Its immediately obvious that little expense was spared, and that the owner responds to feedback (because there were comments in the guestbook that had been addressed, but also because everything is just there, is spotless, and very well equipped). Everything is there from bedlinen, towels, fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine + pads. There is wifi and TV as well. The owner was also very quick to respond to any questions. A real jewel, no doubt if we visit Leeuwarden in the future we will try to book this place again.

It's located a bit strangely : in a light industrial zone on the outer edge of Leeuwarden, so a car would be required (a bike is also possible). But While the entrance is bit 'industrial', the location and the view on the other side make up for that and then some. I would advise against this place only for those who are extremely susceptible to motion sickness (there was hardly motion, and we were there on a very windy day), or wheelchair users (a few steps down to the boat, and then onto the boat - nearly flat but still...).
