Apartment with own entrance & terrace on West Hill

Excellent location. There is plenty of free parking on the road. It is located near the sea and a 10-minute walk into Hastings town centre. The place was very clean and cozy. A responsive host.

We loved the place, but a couple of improvements would make a difference: The mini oven/hob works effectively but would have appreciated a microwave. A clothes rack would also help as there's no wardrobe.

Lage großartig. Kate und Ehemann = super nett! Einrichtung 99% ganz wunderbar - das Bett und die Bettwäsche ganz besonders gemütlich und toll. Danke dafür!!! - Der Bus 328 hält direkt vor der Tür und fährt für 1 Pfund pro Person (Kurzticket) zum Bahnhof runter - bzw. rauf auf den wunderschönen "Westhill" direkt über der ebenso wunderschönen "Old Town"!

Unsere Gastgeber haben uns alles gegeben, was wir brauchten (z.B. Stampfer für Kartoffelstampf und einen großen Kochtopf...). Wir wollten aber nicht so oft stören. Darum haben wir uns für 30 Cent selbst ein Pfannenmesser (Küchenfreund aus Holz) besorgt. Tipp für Kate: Ein paar Teelöffel mehr würden den Komfort vervielfachen. Wir hatten nur 1 Löffel - aber der sah vergoldet aus! Diese "Kritik" ist lächerlich gemessen an unserem Wohlbefinden dort Tag und Nacht - fast eine ganz Woche lang. Wir waren sehr glücklich! West hill was very dog friendly

The heating was set too low for a storm in November.

Kate was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zij kwam snel naar de deur en wist ons gelijk een paar leuke tips te geven voor de omgeving.

Wij hadden van tevoren onderschat hoe zwaar de klim terug omhoog zou zijn. Dit is geen probleem van het appartement, maar wellicht iets om rekening mee te houden voor mensen die minder goed ter been zijn.

Das hübsch eingerichtete Appartement hatte eine tolle Lage direkt auf einem Hügel. Man konnte viele Orte in Hastings super zu Fuß erreichen (über den Hang oder über Treppen). Es war alles blitzsauber und total gemütlich. Kate war immer sehr hilfsbereit und hat viele Tipps über den Ort gegeben.

The location was fantastic(but there is alot of hills to climb), so definitely not for the unfit or people who don't like to walk much(thankfully not a problem for my wife and i)lol. Massive thanks to the Host & Family, they have a wonderful humble establishment as a guest house/apartment. Have a nice little outside space to have a morning hot drink, good parking. The bathroom with a separate toilet was very clean and modern. TV/Sky is only in the bedroom, but being a couple with a little one. So it wasn't really an issue.

I'm not even going to moan about(not having a bigger cooker, to cook on). I wish there were a little more storage for clothes, The overall layout and privacy were fantastic for a couple. So nothing other than that!

Very cosy and quirky. Host was excellent, great communication and very helpful.

Not much living room furniture as such other than one chair in the kitchen area (there is a day bed). The only TV is in the bedroom.

Kate was a welcoming host and maintained contact to ensure we were happy. Very clean, comfortable bed, lovely towels and adequately equipped kitchen. Dossier of useful information and takeaway menus (which could do with updating by the way!)

The only drawback was lack of parking facility, it was sometimes tricky to find a nearby space on the road, although there were no parking restrictions applicable.
